Our Managing Director Dr. Sambasivarao Javvadi is a food technologist with a B.Sc (Tech) and a Ph.D (Tech) from ICT, Mumbai with over 22 years of experience in technical sales, marketing, business development and new solution development by the time he started Shirdi Sai Nutraceuticals Pvt. Ltd. He spent 12 of these years developing and selling enzyme based solutions to the vegetable oil refining industry.
In this time, he learned two things:
- – Almost all food processing technologies have been developed before the discovery of the potential of enzymes, and are based on mechanical, chemical or thermal processes.
- – If we combine Enzymes with traditional technology, we can develop improved, cleaner processes with better quality, higher yield, reduced energy consumption, reduced effluents and better products with enhanced sensory or functional properties.
Building upon this foundation of knowledge and expertise, we have developed a range of products and solutions, and have even patented some of them. But, that is not enough. We want to go further and are in the process of setting up a manufacturing plant for commercial production of certain products. Come, let us work together towards improved processes!
